“A wall bed and study area sounded simple until we looked at the access and the existing services. We wanted to make a small room useful for work and occasional overnight stays. The team did not assume that every home in Santa Pola was alike; they checked our actual walls, light and access. Those constraints were dealt with in the drawings, so fitting day was calm and well organised. The result is quieter than our original reference image and works much better in the actual space.”

The second version was much better because it reflected how we actually use the room.”
